I have been on several photo workshops with Mike. First learning the basics of night photography- then I was hooked. I’ve tried light painting, participated in a workshop in Edmonton taking advantage of the skyline background, and chased Aurora in Jasper finding spots with a unique vantage point. There’s always something new to discover and Mike can be your guide too!

Our Jasper night photo tour with Mike was the highlight of our vacation. Mike was very accommodating when our travel plans changed and we needed to reschedule. He met us at our hotel, gave us options on where to observe the night sky, and found great places near us to get great views. I'm completely new to photography and Mike explained the basics and answered all my questions. By the end of the night I was confident using a camera that I had just bought a few days before. Being from Los Angeles, we don't get to see that many stars (at least not in the sky!) so this was a very unique opportunity to enjoy the night sky. Jasper is a beautiful place to stargaze. My wife who has no interest in photography chose to come along for the tour and enjoyed it so much she is thinking of taking up photography! We will definitely book another tour when we are back in Jasper. Thank you Mike!

G’day Mike, thought I needed to drop you a line to thank you for the tour you hosted in May. Sadly I had an all-too-brief stay but in the few hours we had you made sure I saw as much of your beautiful part of the world as possible and for a landscape photographer that made Jasper a real highlight for me. What a treat! we were visiting from Seattle and were so happy to have gone on a night photography tour with Jasper Photo Tours. It was a gorgeous clear night, and the lake that Mike brought us to was like a mirror. It was a night to remember for my wife Kim’s birthday!
